Frost & Sullivan Lauds QuikPlan Limited for its Product Quality Leadership in the Care Management Software Market
First prize for QuikPlan
Frost & Sullivan confers the European Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Quality Leadership in the European care management software market upon QuikPlan Limited. In presenting this Award, Frost & Sullivan recognises the company’s novel product, QuikPlan, which has already demonstrated considerable success and is even being benchmarked by larger competitors.
One of the most comprehensive solutions in the care sector, QuikPlan is constantly striving to improve and is in a continuous process of development,” notes Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Ms. Jessy Varghese. “With the market being in a continued process of change, QuikPlan pays due attention to the incorporation and alteration of necessary features of the software.
Beginning with a simple framework, QuikPlan has evolved purely through emphasis on customer needs and feedback. This is a key factor that has been responsible for the success of the product and has established the foundation to acquire significant market share in Europe.
User-friendly and robust, the QuikPlan systems have achieved significantly high levels of customer satisfaction. From the inception, there have been a series of well-organised procedures. A standard beta version, when released, is usually tested by a few agencies on a trial run and errors are noted and reported, which are immediately rectified by the system engineers.
QuikPlan is highly compatible with the domiciliary care agency operation. By totally automating visit planning, office administration procedures are cut by up to 80 per cent. “However, the biggest advantage of this system is that there are no client concerns about the equipment since the vendor houses a dedicated server,” says Ms. Varghese. “This guarantees repose for the end user and quick repair since the QuikPlan administrators have absolute control over the functioning of the servers.”
Upon the coordination of planned visits, QuikPlan automatically creates the carer’s schedules immediately. It also provides for automatic invoicing at desired time-intervals and wage calculations at a single click. Most of all, the programme can be networked to facilitate simultaneous use by several people.
“QuikPlan’s solutions are well recognised among its customers, potential clients as well as the well-established bigger market participants for its quality, durability and cost effectiveness,” remarks Ms. Varghese. “The customer base of QuikPlan is rapidly expanding and the company is also looking to move into the institutional care segment due to a large number of requests.”
Constant changes are made to the product portfolio in accordance with contemporary requirements and QuikPlan has had many updated versions released in a short period of time. The latest version QuikPlan Advance 3.0 released in early December 2006 has surpassed all client expectations and gained wide acceptance.
Since its release in 2004, QuikPlan has made tremendous progress to capture about 5 per cent of its targeted UK domiciliary care management software markets in 2006. The company’s focus on customer needs and the value it renders to its customers through product innovation, marketing, R&D investment and excellent sales strategy leadership have led to its success.
The Frost & Sullivan Award for Product Quality Leadership is bestowed upon the company that has demonstrated superior quality control over its existing competitors in product manufacturing. Quality control is an essential element of satisfying customers, increasing repeat buying behaviour and assuring long-term market survival.
